Biblical Prophecy-Signs of the Times
Posted On: Jan 27 2009 1:02PM

This article has some amazing facts and signs about what we are seeing unfold right before our eyes concerning end times prophecy in the Bible. Can anyone really deny the times we are in, the geo-political state of the globe, and the prophetic signs pointing at all we see? Read what the article identifies and then research for yourself...I challenge you to explain away or deny what this generation has seen. Are we the generation that will see Jesus Christ return to earth just as He claimed?

Great website.. Very frightening is it not?
Posted On: Jan 27 2009 1:35PM

I suppose it depends on your perspective? I believe those that put their faith and trust in Jesus have little to fear, just like the article states and supports with scripture...believers will be spared from God's wrath.

Yeah, I'm not losing any sleep.

Why would you be frightened SG, isn't this what you are waiting for?
Posted On: Jan 27 2009 2:48PM

Rider...do you think any of the specific items the author alludes to in the article are relevant?

ND I looked up some of the specific passages from the link you provided, and obviously author interpretation comes into play. Vague writings (including from people like Nostrodamus) can be interpreted many different ways to fit the scenario.

Here is how prophecies work:

Vague writings??? How is stating Israel returning to statehood vague? How is stating Jerusalem will be in Jewish hands vague? How is stating Israel will be attacked and naming the specific nations vague? How is stating the ancient Roman empire will rise again vague? How is stating the world will embrace a single religion vague? How is stating the world will accept a single government vague? Not sure how much more specific the Bible needs to be for you...

The frightening part to me Rider is the amount of pain, suffereing, and distruction that is coming.   I know people that aren't going to heaven, and I do worry about them... thats a kind of fear...

A friend I know JIm, is going thru chemo and radiation.  has had multiple surguries already... he is a pastor... he is suffering severely, I don't know If I could go thru what he is going thru....... I am afraid for him and his suffering..

its that kind of fear,  fear   of the worst...

But no, not fear of missing heaven,  I AM ALREADY SCHEDULED TO GO..

COME QUICKLY LORD JESUS...

Actually looking forward to it ..

Ancient Roman Empire will rise again? What a wild imagination the author has to come up with an explain on this one....just wow.

The world will embrace a single religion? Riiiiiigggghhhttt.

1 world government? oh sure, because our leaders love to share power.

Do you really believe all this? Really???

Ezekiel 36:24 reads:

For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.

Well, he obviously missed a few since Jews are spread all around the world. In fact, I bet there are more Jews living outside of Israel than in.

Sg, I am sorry to hear about what your friend is going through. But that brings me to this....and I know this sounds harsh but don't take it that way.

Why isn't he praying to be healed? Why even have chemo, period? If you pray to be healed...your prayer will be answered..or it won't. There should be no reason to seek medical attention.

But, aren't all prayers promised to be answered? I'm sure I have read a Bible quote that says so. If we all prayed together, could we heal him? Does it matter if 1 prays or 1000? Why should numbers matter?

How come Jesus paid a personal visit to Maz to cure his cancer, but 10 million other people died from their cancer with no Jesus coming to their aid? Maz must be very special.

Rider,  I am glad you asked.   that is one answer I do not have for you.   I ask God about it alot...

I have been healed a few times, so has my husband... not of cancer, but of some pretty serious stuff.    So as to why Jim isn't healed yet,  I cannot answer that.

Some people think that the person not being healed must be a sinner or not praying right.  I tend to think we live on this earth, and we get a mixture  LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, of the good and the bad, the rain and sunshine...

Rider,  I do not know...  but I pray anyway..   Don't be afraid to ask me anything, I will try and answer.

Rider - God answers all prayers...in HIS time...and the answer isn't always what we are seeking. God allows bad things to happen to us for a reason....it's God's megaphone, His way of awakening us from spiritual lethargy. It's a fact that most people pray their deepest and most honest when at the lowest point of their lives, so to speak. When things are going good, alot of us forget about Him and live in the ways of the world. When God answers prayers, He doesn't always give us what we want, but He always gives us what we need.....in His time. You either believe in Him and have faith in Him or you don't. Believers don't debate, they just trust and have faith in the Word.

Rider...since you mentioned my name I would like to respond to you. .  But first I wanted to clarify I am a she and not a he.  That said.....Yes, I do believe I am special....but no more or less special that anyone else. God is not a respector of persons....He loves us all.   And yes He most definitly does and will answer prayer.  But He says in Mathew that He answers prayers that are prayed in faith and also that are according to His will.

Why He chose to heal me and not someone else I dont; have the anwer to except to say it was not my time to go.....and that He still has something He wants me to do for Him here on the earth....like share the truth of HIs word with people on this forum among many other things.\

That said.....my niece on the other hand who was a very strong and wonderful Christian died just last year from an incurable brain tumor.  She was young and so many people prayed for her but she was not healed.  Could God have healed her.?...absolutley ...but He chose not to.  Why?  I guess He wanted her in heaven with Him.   Also through her season of sickness and  suffering and then through her death...many many people came to receive Jesus into their lives as their Lord and Savior.

So in her death God was glorified and in my healing He was also glorified.  Either way....God's purpose and plan for both of us has been fulfilled.

And because He is a God of love and cares for us so much we both trusted Him with the outcome..

If you want to read more about my nieces life, her faith and testimony of what she went through visit ............www.prayforramey.com.                                      Her name is Ramey Reeves.   I believe her story will touch your heart.

Maz, Marilyn.... Yes,  I believe in prayer, and if I get sick I pray and take my meds if I choose too.... Luke in the bible was a physician....

I don't have that answer, but I do not that I will pray continually  for jim and others that are seriously ill and BELIEVE God will heal them.    And yes,  sometimes they die instead... but I cannot pretent to know the hows and whys...

Maz, Thanks for letting me know your a "she", sorry

Many people have had their cancer disappear.....some Christian, some Muslim, some Agnostic, and even some Atheist. Wow, really? Yep. Has nothing to do with religion or praying.

To say "God always answers prayers but on his terms".....what an excuse to absolve all responsibility.

I've asked this before...a long time ago so some of the newbies may not have seen the question.

Why won't God heal amputees?  Why are they forgotten about? Even if it's on his terms, you would think at least one could be healed.
No matter how many people pray, no matter how often they pray, no matter how sincere they are, no matter how much they believe, no matter how deserving the amputee, what we know is that prayers do not inspire God to regenerate amputated legs. This happens despite what Jesus promises us in Matthew 21:21, John 14:14, Mark 11:24, etc.
