"One" would have been too many. And especially if that "one" would have been one of your family or loved ones.

As many that know me know my brother was KIA in Iraq...I have so many opinions on this. One thing I have noticed though is that Rugby Reader has no clue.

I am truly sorry to hear that your brother died as a result of Bush's lies.
The day is coming when we no longer allow our politicians to mislead US into illegal, immoral, unjustified and unnecessary wars.

I dont think my brother died because of Bush lies. I know that he died protecting our country and everyone who resides in it. THis also includes YOU. What if, Bush had done nothing and just let 9/11 slide by with no retaliation and we got attacked again, either by AlQueda or Saddams people. THen we would be hearing you saying, Bush why didnt you do something about this. Rugby, no matter what is said and done you would just take the opposite side of the story, not using common sense and thinking about the reality of the situation.

Iraq had nothing to do with the attacks on 9/11. "Saddams people" never attacked US.

duwayneh - sorry about your brother, he really is one of America's real hero's. You are so correct about what our troops do to protect America, sad that there is such distorted thinking, and such hatred of Bush, that our military does not get the respect it should because of the mindless rhetoric of the Rugby's. You can tell from the last response to you, the same parroting of the same bull he has been spewing for a long time. It's like he spins the wheel and whatever comes up is what his next post consists of. Just like a parrot.......no thinking, just a programed response.
Our country needs more of you and your brother, those that have pride in the country, and know what it takes to keep the great country we have. Even though your brother paid the ultimate price, I think he probably would have not changed his way of thinking knowing what he would pay. True hero's. True soldiers. True patriots.
Always Faithful

Rugby Reader, It probably wont be any time in the near future as it will take intelligent individuals in Washington DC to do it and right now they are few and far between, but we will find out that Al Qeada and Saddams regime both played a part in 9/11 attacks. The evidence is out there but not being reported on as it would take away from the condemnation of Bush.. ANd to Jack A. Absolutly correct. Even if my brother new he was going to pay the ultimate price for serving his country, he knew that keeping us safe was his main priority... Thanks to all who serve

The Lancet study in October 2006 said the US was directly responsible for 650,000.... So by those numbers we would expect that 2009 pushing into 2010 that we would be well into a million. Only we aren't.....85000 poor souls have been killed in Iraq. However could you come up with numbers that show who have been killed by US or Coalition Forces and Terrorists/civil war? I would be willing to bet that US/Coalition forces vs terrorist/civil war would not even be close with terrorists/civil war overwhelming the stats.
That said I have high doubts about Saddam and 9/11. I have already proven the Iraq had WMD's, but not nukes. Secondly Saddam did support terrorists with 25k payments to suicide bombers....

Speculation is not sufficient justification for invading and occupying another sovereign nation, as was the case with Iraq.
Additionally, US military operations in Iraq do not keep US citizens free or defend our nation. Iraq never attacked US, nor did it pose a threat to US. To accept the false premise that our military occupation of Iraq protects US from further attacks is akin to believing that Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy are partners in the coalition of the willing.
All who have died, or have been injured, in Iraq have done so for no good reason or purpose.

I'm with you Rugby. There was absolutely no justification for invading Iraq. And by saying this, I am not trying to put down any of the soldiers who have lost their lives over there. They were only doing the job they were ordered to do by our government. They lost their lives fighting for their country, even though our goverment was wrong.
For those of you who claim that to disagree with the government on the Iraqi war is synonomous with "not supporting the troops", you are so full of it. You were brain-washed by the neo-con "Bushies".
