It's been a tough start for the Williston Coyotes girls Basketball team, winning just one game so far this season. With a core of three seniors, they are working hard in practice to achieve their goal.
The Coyotes are looking for improvement at the midway point of the season and one strength that could help them get there is the team's hard work ethic.
"Codi Austreim, Coyotes Coach: Right now, our strength is our tenacity, we never give up, we fight until the final buzzer every game and that is something that is a real key to success. I think that we are every day improving of things and sometimes we have days where one thing is great and the other things fall off a little bit but we continue to work.
Abby Hagen, Coyotes Senior: We're starting to recognize what we're doing wrong and we're working very hard in practice on what we need to do better and I think every game something else gets a little better and we improve in every game
Chelsea Hicks, Coyotes Senior: We just want to get some wins so we can make it to WDA and I think once we get to WDA, people will be scared of us because we are the underdog, we don't have anything to lose."
