Just over a week ago, the Bismarck High Demons football team won their 11th state title.
It was the 4th Class 3A championship in the last 10 years.
BHS celebrated their title at Amvets, and Head Coach Mark Gibson said despite some big wins this year with lopsided scores, the Demons went through a lot of adversity to get wins.
Gibson credits the kids work ethic through out the entire year, including summers as to why BHS is so successful year in and year out.
The Demons sends out 12 seniors.
Mark Gibson/ BHS Head Coach: 'the one thing they need to understand is they go out as state champions there is no better feeling than that the one thing I told them to remember when they're fat and old like myself, they can walk into a gym and they can see 2011, and the things they accomplished, and my hats off to everyone up here. "
