The excitement level is sky high for the Dakota Wizards with the season only 4 days away.
For first year head coach Nate Bjorkgen and the rest of the Wizards playing in Bismarck triggers different emotions.
For veteran players like Mo Baker, it's a relief to be back playing in a familiar place.
But for D-League rookies like Joe Harden, North Dakota is a whole new world, after coming from California, and going to school at UC Davis.
Joe Harden / Wizard Rookie: "I new it was the capital, but when they said the Dakota Wizards I didn't know if it was North Dakota or South Dakota so I had to kinda look online and figure that out. I didn't know too much about it, but so far it's a really great little town, the people are really nice and really welcoming. Besides the cold it's pretty nice."
The Wizards still have 4 cuts to make, before their opening day roster.
The Wizards tip off their season at home against the L.A. D-fenders this Friday at 7 o'clock.
