In the final day of the Bismarck Rotary Wreslting Tournament local wrestlers stood out in a star studded 27 team field.
The Mandan Braves had two champions, Curt Zachmeier at 113 pounds and Keenan Ternes at 126.
Napoleon Senior Jared Rice kept his perfect record in tact when he climbed to the top of the podium at 152 pounds with an 13 to 4 decision over Grand Forks Central 's Bryce Fish.
But the story of the tournament were the Bismarck Demons. Ryan Blees, at 145 pounds, and Kip Jangula, at 160 pounds, were crowned champions in their weight classes leading the Demons to their 22nd Bismarck Rotary Championship.
Bismarck High edged out favorite West Fargo by 2 points to become the lowest scoring champion with 168.5 since 1997.
