Fire crews respond to two trailer house fires within 12 hours of each other...
The fires are unrelated.
Crews were called to this home in south Bismarck at Skyway Park Village this morning.
Authorities say the fire started while the resident was trying to thaw frozen pipes under his trailer.
He stepped away from a heater and in that time a fire started under the home and spread up into a bedroom.
The man was outside at the time and was not injured.
Bismarck Fire Battalion Chief Kurt Leben says, "The key is keeping ignition sources attended so things don't accidentally happen. If a fire does happen the best thing to do is get out and make a call if try to do it yourself sometimes injuries do occur."
Bismarck firefighters also put out a fire at a home in the northeast part of town around ten last night.
Authorities say a resident left food cooking on the stove when the fire started and spread to the roof.
The resident says he burned his hands trying to put the fire out.
