The ever increasing need for more beds to sleep in western North Dakota is leading to some impressive building in the town...or maybe we should say booming city of Stanley.  Rising high above the plans

Expect to see some big changes here -- in the Sears court of Dakota Square Mall.  Deb is closing at the end of the month -- and the two stores next door -- Nails 1st and MasterCuts will be relocating.  Why the changes?  Scheels is getting ready to expand its footprint at the Mall.  The 9000 square feet that will be made available will be turned into a separate Scheels location for the hunting-fishing merchandise they offer.  Expect that later in the Spring.

A longtime Minot furniture store is growing -- actually growing back to its original size.  Conlins on Broadway in Minot  has gotten a make-over the last few months...opening up the main level -- and moving back upstairs.  Lance Klabo says the addition greatly increases what can be offered to customers...

(Lance Klabo - Conlins Furniture Store Manager) "The best thing is having more inventory.  It will almost double the space we have and by doing that we can bring in some new vendors -- like Stressless from Norway..."

You may know this line from the Hostfest...it is comfy stuff!  Klabo says increasing the size allowed them to move in...and really...just get more of everything in stock.

(Lance Klabo - Conlins Furniture Store Manager) "We used to have all our bedroom, bedding, dining room all downstairs and now that it up so the downstairs is all upholstery furniture.  It is nice."
