Dickinson is growing by leaps and bounds.
Activity from oil country has made its way to the town, along with many businesses to support the growth.
In this week's edition of Around Town, reporter Kate Keller shows us a few of the newest eateries in Dickinson.
The owner of Bismarck's Pita Pit opens a second location in Dickinson.  Chris Volk knew he wanted to expand here shortly after opening his Bismarck store.  He says he saw a need in the Dickinson area.  The Pita Pit is located on 1st Street West.  It's open seven days a week and opens at 6am for breakfast.
At the other end of this new strip mall in Dickinson, sits the future home of Little Caesar's Pizza.  The store is expected to open soon. Unlike the Bismarck location, this Little Caesars includes a drive thru.
Famous Labels closes inside the Gateway Fashion Mall.  The former center anchor store opened in November of 2010.  The store filled a space that was left vacant by Conlins Furniture in 2009.  Famous Label specialized in deeply-discounted merchandise.
Chico's is expected to open inside the Kirkwood Mall in Bismarck.  According to the store's website, Chico's will open this spring.  The store specializes in women's clothing and accessories.  The company is also looking to expand to Minot.  West Acres shopping center in Fargo is the only mall in the state, currently, with a Chico's.
