After an abrupt shut down... A buffet restaurant in Bismarck is getting ready to reopen.

Donnell Preskey has more on the changes at Golden Corral in this weeks Around Town.

You've seen the lights on, off and back on again... The Golden Corral has gone through some changes and is planning to reopen as the "Golden Corral" April 3rd.

They are currently in the process of hiring workers.

The restaurant is now a corporate owned store.

Visser the corporation also plans to reopen Golden Corral buffet restaurants in Fargo and Grand Forks in the near future.

America's Mattress has moving plans... They will be breaking ground shortly on this piece of property to the south of the Walmart off Highway 83 in north Bismarck.

Owner Dustin Schmidt says they've outgrown their south 3rd location and will be expanding the new store to become a "one stop bedroom shop."

In addition to mattresses they will carry bedroom sets.

America's Mattress wants to be in their new location August first.

Game Stop will be renting part of the building -- adding a second location in Bismarck.

Just in time for Spring... Another cold sweet treat has popped up... Cherry Berry is at 1423 Mapleton Avenue near the north Papa Johns.

You'll find 14 flavors of non or low fat yogurt -- that you can dish up yourself and add 35 different kinds of toppings.

The Bismarck owners have three Cherry Berry yogurt bars.

A location in Grand Junction, Colorado is now open and another yogurt bar in Stillwater Minnesota should looking at a May opening.

Jo-Ann Fabrics is having their grand opening this week for their new store in Gateway Mall.

The store opened yesterday.
