Marauder Softball Swinging To 7

Posted: Updated:
Bismarck, ND -

The UMary softball team opened up NSIC play at home and for the first time in along time didn't have to reschedule.

The weather was cool, but the Marauder bats were hot. Melissa Gonzalez started the scoring in the third inning with an RBI single and Desiree Smith added a homerun in the fifth.

UMary dedicated their new scoreboard to the family of Harlow Hageness before the game and Harlow's granddaughter, Brooke, scored the first run of the game.

UMary has won 7 straight games.
