Just in time for shorts and tank top season, a Mandan Business is offering simple solutions for living healthier.

Bisman Healthy Living is having it's grand opening this weekend. Located next to the Cenex in Mandan the wellness center offers people a wholistic approach to health.

Owner and RN Chris Pauling says doctors in the area do a great job of offering medical care but there is need for more nutrition education.

"The reason we are having more breast cancer and prostate cancer a lot has to do with the nutritional aspect and we are not getting the nutrition we need to keep our bodies basic and so we are getting more acidic and that makes the estrogen goes up." says Pauling

The wellness center offers health and hormone screens along with nutrition education-stressing a low-gylcemic diet.

"The nutrition aspect is if you have enough fruits and veggies you body is able to adjust hormones better and unfortunately a lot the food we have these days doesn't have enough nutrients as it did 20-40 years ago because we are mass producing nutrients." says Pauling

Bisman Healthy living is also offering an active slim wrap that helps your body detoxify.

Pauling says the wrap which takes about an hour helps your skin feel firmer and smoother.
