On the recently extended segment of 20th Avenue SE, a new hotel is taking shape.  This area -- very near Kroll's Diner will soon be home to the Noble Inn.  This is an artist's rendition of what the extended style hotel will look like once it is completed later this year.  It will be three stories tall and have 66 rooms.  There are two types of rooms -- full one bedroom units and studio style.  Foundation work has been completed and the framing should begin very soon all with the goal of an opening of the Noble Inn coming in September.

Change has come to Dakota Square Mall.  Scheels has officially taken over the old Deb location -- shifting the outdoors and hunting departments to this spot.  It frees up even more space in the main location.  And also at the Mall, the next tenant at the old RCC location is now known.  Chico's will soon begin work here and is planned to open up its doors in August.  The Woman's apparel store will begin construction in June.

Finally, work will soon begin here -- next to Hobby Lobby -- on Kohl's that is coming to Minot.  That construction is expected to take until early next year...with an opening hoped for March of 2013.  With Business Beat, I'm Perry Olson
