Minot's International Airport is now the second busiest airport in the state trailing only Fargo.
The latest numbers from the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission that were released today show 18,366 people boarded planes in Minot in the month of April. That's a 68 percent increase compared to the previous year. The trend is also indicating another record year as city officials and planners continue to look towards a new terminal that will better meet the increasing air travel demand in Minot. Williston's numbers continue to climb as well with more than 27-hundred passengers a nearly 36 percent increase.
