From a name change at a local donut shop, to a new store open in the Kirkwood mall, there are some changes to tell you about in the capitol city.

Taco Del Mar isn't anything new in Bismarck, but their location is.

"We've tripled our size, we've tripled our seating, put in more TV's we have a bigger beer selection," Taco Del Mar owner Pat Engelhardt said.

The local Mexican restaurant opened its doors at the new location on 12th street and Expressway on May 3rd and have seating for 100 customers.

"It's just a big request we've had from the customers from our old location, they love coming here but they just couldn't find a place to sit," Engelhardt said.

And just down the Expressway a new store is open in the Kirkwood Mall.

34:18 "A lot of the Bismarck shoppers were driving all the way to Fargo and they just voiced their opinions that they would love to see us come into Bismarck and to really see the additional store so that they could shop locally and so here we are," Store Manager Shannon Monzelowsky said.

Chico's opened May 7th and can be appealing for women of all ages.

"If you're active and you love clothing, you love fashion and lots of color we're definitely the spot for you," Monzelowsky said.

And finally around town the Donut Hole has changed their name to Bearscat, they've made some renovations inside and now offer soups and sandwiches along with their donuts.

The name Bearscat was the term that cowboys used to call donuts.

Bearscat is still in the same location as the Donut Hole was, they've just simply changed their name.
