Running Away With Triathlon Knowledge

Posted: Updated:

The two co-founders of Matrix Training are passionate about triathlons, and want to help people who are thinking about signing up for their first one.

Their training seminar gives tips on nutrition, equipment and advice for what to expect on race day.

"I think coming off the bike and into the run is something everyone might be uncomfortable with the first time, because your legs literally do feel like noodles and then they start to feel like bricks, so that's why they call it the brick workout when you're preparing to do the triathlon." says Cathy Peterson/Matrix Training.

Cathy Peterson says everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, but it's a huge accomplishment to cross the finish line.

"Everyone has their own experiences they're bringing to the event, their own motivations, and it's a personal feeling when you do cross that line and something you can keep with you and take with you to be motivated for whatever you decide to do next."

The Bismarck triathlon is June 16th at McDowell Dam.
