Airports across the state are a few dollars richer after getting some federal grants.
The money is meant to help support North Dakota's transportation infrastructure.
One of the eleven airports that received the grant money, has already spent it.
The Dickinson Airport expanded their parking lot last fall and took out a loan from the city, so this money will be used to pay back that loan.
"We expanded our parking lot from 91 stalls up to 176 stalls," Dickinson Airport Manager Matthew Remynse said.
The Dickinson airport received $700,000 through the grant.
The largest grants are $2.9 million for Hector International Airport in Fargo and $2.5 million for Bismarck's municipal airport.
