Growing through professional development refines life-long skills for a successful career.
More than 100 young professionals are taking advantage of entrepreneurs before them at this week's Great Plains Young Professionals Summit in Minot.
The summit features motivational speakers and networking opportunities for the near 700 Young Professionals members across the state.
This is the third annual G-P-Y-P summit, the previous two were held in Bismarck and Fargo.
This afternoon the group focused on how to start your own non-profit.
The Young Professionals host a number of events year-round, and with help from the Chamber of Commerce, they're able to keep membership fees at twenty-five dollars a year.
(Kausha Bakk, Minot Young Professionals Chair) "We are all about bringing people back to our state. We believe in our state. We believe in our communities and we believe in one another. We're a group of 21 to 39 year olds. When you turn 40 we kick you out and you're more than welcome to join our new development, the Wisdom Team."
The Young Professionals are welcoming new members.
