Locals call it one of the worst storms in Mobridge history.

About 7:25 last night winds gusting up to 77 miles per hour blew through town.

Mayor Jamie Dietterle says the screen was blown off the outdoor theatre.

He also says the roof of Lucky's Gas and More was blown off and into the parking lot of the supper club.

Dietterle says the micro burst caused a lot of damage to trees, and some shingles were torn off roofs.

Luckily he says no injuries were reported and community members have rallied to help each other out.

"I've lived here my whole life and this is one of bigger storms that's hit Mobridge. A lot of people have said that have lived here too for many years and I don't think we've seen winds like this with so much structural damage and roofs blown off and trees being uprooted the way they were throughout town," says Mobridge Mayor Jamie Dietterle.

Dietterle says the owner of the outdoor theatre has already said he plans to fix the screen and reopen.
