Murder Suspect Enters Pleas

(Judge Douglas Mattson, Northwest District Judge) Not guilty or guilty?
(Omar Kalmio, Accused of Murder)  "Not Guilty."

Omar Kalmio, plead not-guilty to three separate counts of Class-Double-A Murder this afternoon in northwest District Court in Minot.
Kalmio had plead not guilty to a fourth count of Class-Double-A Murder last August.

He's accused of killing 19 year old Sabrina Zephier, the mother of his infant child, 33 year old Jolene Zephier-Sabrina's mother, 13 year old Dillon Zephier-Sabrin's brother, and 22 year old Jeremy Longie-Jolene's boyfriend.

The incident happened January 28th, 2011 at two separate locations in Minot.
Kamio's attorney's waived today's preliminary hearing.
Judge Doug Mattson said questionnaires will be going out to roughly 180 to 190 potential jurors within the week and a trail date set for October 15th and is expected to last three weeks.

(Judge Douglas Mattson, Northwest District Judge) "If there are some people that you feel should be excluded, we can come to an agreement with that, if you let me know what if we have an agreement, regarding we are going to have a completed questionnaires by late July."
At a preliminary hearing last August Minot Police Sergeant David Goodman testified that although Kalmio was not seen in Minot on January 28th, he was located at his work site in Williston later that day and had knowledge of the details in the case that had not been revealed to the public or even to other law enforcement agencies.
Kalmio allegedly told a co-worker that "she, being Sabrina Zephier, was shot in the jaw and the face area.  
Goodman said that Sabrina Zephier was in fact shot in the head.
