Hard work and dedication pays off.
This week some young, local youth win big.

These teens are now World Champions..winning the American Junior Paint Horse Association World Championship Judging Contest.
The Burleigh County team competed against 36 teams in Fort Worth, Texas for the title. 
15 year old Morgan Heidrich won high individual overall. 

Morgan Heidrich / World Champion) "Just trying to stay focues, think if of my teammates, trying to stay focues, all you can do. I just thought that was our gaol. We made it and we did it and that's what we achieved.We knew we could do good, but not this good."


The team's next competition is in South Dakota this September.
