Last Days for CDBG Plan Comments

Tomorrow is the final day you can comment on the city of Minot's plans for spending 67-and-a-half million dollars in federal flood recover funds.
The Community Development Block Grant, or CDBG, funds have been promised to Minot to help recover from the record flood of 2011.

City officials unveiled the plan last week and began a seven-day comment period that ends Tuesday night.
If you want to read the entire plan - and if you'd like to comment on the ways the city wants to spend the money - go to MinotRecoveryInfo.com.
Once you're at the site, you need to click on "contact us," and then leave a comment in the space provided.
After the comment period ends, the plan will be forwarded to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for review.

A decision on how the distribute the CDBG funding is expected within 45 days.
