Business Beat 7.5.12

Ryan Honda and Ryan GMC are closed today...and will remain closed until Monday as the two do a bit of a switcheroo.  This is the new Ryan Honda location on South Broadway in Minot...just north actually of the old Ryan GMC.  Come Monday, Ryan Honda will open up this new location, while GMC will move to the old Ryan Honda.

The new facility is the latest and greatest from Honda...in fact, when you walk through the doors here, you will find yourself in a store that very few will find in their hometowns...

(Kathy Gaddie - Ryan Automotive Group) "Honda had what they call the Gen-2 and when we were getting started with this they came out with the Gen-3, Generation 3 model for the Honda stores.  We are the second store that will be a Gen-3 model store."

The other by the way is in Fargo.  Again, both dealerships open on Monday.

In Stanley, Fuel Force has opened along Highway 2.  You'll find the usuals here...convenience store fare...but Fuel Force expands on that.  GM Ian Grande says there will be a bit of a home cooked feel to the food you can find here...and that includes Godfather's Pizza as well.  For Grande, this opportunity to move from Fargo to the Bakken was one he was ready to jump at.

(Ian Grande - Fuel Force GM) "My parents grew up in Williston and they have always been itching to get back.  Thought it was a good opportunity for us to kind of serve a community that is busting at the seams and provide a good business atmosphere."

Fuel Force is open from 5 to 11...with plans in the works to expand on those hours should demand warrant it.  With Business Beat, I'm Perry Olson.
