Whether you like to garden for the look or for the taste, this conference has something for every green thumb.
The State Horticultural Society is hosting it's 89th annual conference.
The conference travels the state, only making it to the Bismarck-Mandan area every 12 to 15 years.
The 3 day event features educational speakers and sessions and garden tours across Bismarck-Mandan.
Morton County Extension Agent Jackie Buckley says whether you are a beginner or a master gardener, there's something for everyone.
(Jackie Buckley / Morton co. extension agent) "We have a session on hostas, we have a session on Heucheras, which are corral bells. One on one water gardening. A session on mushrooms. So lots of different educational sessions."
The Conference is July 26 through the 28 at the Career Academy on the BSC campus.
Thursday night is free and open to the public, but it asked that you register for the Friday and Saturday sessions you would like to attend.
