Mandan Competes For Most Patriotic Small Town

For the past month the city of Mandan has been anxiously waiting to see if they would earn the title for Most Patriotic small town in America.

Today the results were revealed.

The winner is Gainesville Texas.

While Mandan didn't receive the title,Marlo Anderson who submitted the town into the contest says it's been a great experience for the entire community.

"I thought we did wonderfully well, I know Rick and Sandy the reviewers that were here had a great time in our city, the publicity that Mandan has received from this has been fantastic and the community really, really came out for this," Marlo Anderson said.

The other runner ups for Most Patriotic; were Watertown New York, DeLand Florida, Enterprise Alabama, and Duluth Georgia.
