Body of Dan Olszewski Found in Badlands

Eileen Andes of Theodore Roosevelt National Park says the body of 48-year-old Dan Olszewski has been found. She says the family has been notified.

Andes says the body was found by a helicopter not far from where he parked his car. An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death.

Olszewski had been missing since Sunday morning when he left for a day hike in the South Unit. A co-worker reported him missing Monday morning.

Searches have been conducted by foot, horseback, and with helicopters the past three days.

Olszewski is from Virginia, but had been working for Morton Buildings in Bismarck.
