At the mall craving a Big Mac?  You'll have to drive a bit longer to get it for the time being.  McDonalds at Dakota Square is currently being torn down to make room for a different one...still McDonalds of course.  The plan is to completed in about three months or so and during construction, employees will shift to the Broadway location.  The restaurant has been shut down for a few days now in preparation for the demo that has obviously started up.  Watch for a new look McDonald's to take its place.

For northwest, Moore Engineering has now opened up its permanent location.  Moore Engineering has been around the region for decades...with a home base in Fargo, and has recently moved into the Minot market.  They had been located downtown...but have now moved here in with Quality Concrete just west of the 83 bypass.

With Business Beat, I'm Perry Olson.
