Valentino Bagola Makes First Court Appearance

A year after a mother found her son and daughter murdered a 19 year old St. Michael man is charged with the kids deaths.

Valentino Bagola is charged with four counts of first degree murder for killing 9 year old Destiny Shaw and 6 year old Travis DuBois, Jr.

The children's bodies were found in a St. Michael home May 21st 2011.

According to federal court records, Bagola killed the kids by striking and stabbing them numerous times.

The indictment says the kids were killed while perpetrating or attempting to perpetrate sex abuse and child abuse.

Bagola made his first court appearance on the charges today and pleaded not guilty.

He faces life in prison.
