Google is in town today to show small business owners the importance of having a web site.
According to Google-- 97 percent of people go online to look for a business. Less then fifty percent of businesses actually have a web site. Today's event was to provide small businesses with free tools to help them have an Internet presence. A North Dakota Native who works for the Search Engine Juggernaut returned to his home state to stress the importance of businesses having a web site.
(Craig McFadden/Google)"They might think its too expensive they might think it's just intimidating they might think they don't need it. And we're just here to walk through some presentations and help them get set up and show them that getting online should be fast free and easy."
Businesses were able to build their own web site with help from Inuit and received online training.
