Around Town 7-27 Bread Poets and Pahlke

A local bakery got approval from Bismarck City commissioners to expand their business.
Jon Schaeffer takes you around town this evening.

Bread Poets on East Thayer Avenue will be expanding. They will be adding over 1000 square feet to their popular bakery. It is much needed as they've seen an increase in demand from customers. They also own sonnet sandwich shops. The additional space will be added to account for production of their delicious baked goods. They were approved for renaissance zone expansion by the City commission on Tuesday. You can get your favorite baked goods from Monday through Saturday.
JL Beers interior work has started. They are a few weeks into building the inside of the bar that has seen great approval in Fargo and Grand Forks. It will seat between 70 and 80 people and have a patio out back. With 42 tap beers and plenty of bottles you can pair with a burger--you'll find a new favorite spot for after work beverages.
Pahlke steel moved from the strip in Mandan over to Industrial Drive in Bismarck. Whether you need steel for the farm, or a home project Pahlke has everything you need. They'll cut it bend it and punch for ya too. Jay Pahlke says they liked their location in Mandan, but since they've opened up on May 14th in Bismarck-- they've been busy. Stop in to their new location and check out their vast selection of pipe and steel for your next project.
Jay says the high amount of traffic around the new building has really contributed to how busy Pahlke has been.
