a 19-year-old Bismarck woman is dead following a single vehicle rollover last night near Linton.
The Highway Patrol says it happened about 10:50pm at the intersection of Highway's 13 and 83.
Captain Kyle Kirchmeier says the woman was westbound on 13 and missed a curve near the intersection.
Kirchmeier says the woman swerved to miss a tree, sending the vehicle down an embankment.
The car came to a rest on its hood in about three feet of water. Authorities say it's not clear how she died.
The woman's 15-year-old brother was able to get out of the car and flag down a passing car. He was treated for minor injuries and released. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.
Kirchmeier says alcohol was not a factor, and that it appeared the woman was not familiar with the road.
