Mandan, ND -

A woman who has admitted to stealing from garages but continues to run from authorities is this months On The Run criminal.

Laura Pleets is wanted on two counts of theft of property.

The 34 year old woman is accused of stealing high priced items from garages in southern Morton County.

Authorities say Pleets stole chain saws, tillers, generators, and pressure washers.

She's accused of pawning the items at various stores in the area.

There are at least three victims, some of the items have been recovered.

Morton County Deputy Cody Thomas says Pleets has admitted on the phone to taking the items and has told him she will turn herself in -- but has yet to do so.

That was in May.

Thomas says he believes Pleets bounces around between the Ft. Yates, Ft. Rice areas and Bismarck-Mandan.

A co-conspirator in the case was arrested and is set to go on trial for theft of property in October.

If you have any information on where Pleets may be -- contact the Morton County Sheriffs Department at 667-3330 or your local law enforcement agency.
