
Mandan has seen solid growth in housing recently--and they're adding more.
Edgewood Vista will have a ground breaking ceremony on Monday.
They'll be building an assisted living community on the corner of Mckenzie and 39th St. SE in Mandan.
The area will include 72 apartments and could double in size over time adding more assisted living as well as independent living if needed.
The Edgewood group has built units in 7 states and is considered one of the leaders in assisted living communities for the upper Midwest.
Bismarck's very own Brewery had to push back their open date to October 8th. Laughing Sun Brewery will feature 5 regular tap beers and 6 seasonal taps when it does open up in early October.
It is right across the street from Peacock alley on North 5th St.
Back across the river in Mandan. A new treat has hit the strip. Dakota Shave Ice opened its window today bringing you up to 40 different flavors of shaved ice. The tow able unit can move all over the area-- and will have it's first big weekend in the Bismarck Mandan Area at the Capital A'Faire.Owner John Juan-ick-ee says that he isn't trying to make tons of money on this and is actually giving a portion of his profit to a different kind of project.
