Man Arrested After Infant Found Upside Down in Stroller

A 26 year old Bismarck man is arrested for child abuse and neglect after police found his infant upside down in a stroller.

Officers found the father pushing the stroller on 3rd street around 6:30 last night.

Officers say the baby was crying loudly and was not in the sitting area but instead was upside down in the storage basket on the bottom of the stroller.

The two month old boy's neck was bent and his head was pushed against the frame.

Officers say the baby had a mark on his forehead and was bleeding.

Police say the father was very intoxicated.

The infant was turned over to his mother who was working at the time.
