
The search is over for Adolfo Lepe.
He was apprehended in Dickinson at a residence without incident about an hour ago.
Around 12:30 Friday afternoon officers responded to a call of a person who had a warrant for their arrest in Stark County and they were located in the Mavericks Parking lot.
Police then responded to check the Mavericks parking lot and see if it was Mr. Lepe.
"Upon arrival our officers did locate mister Lepe in the drivers seat of a pickup, they tempted to make contact, but he pulled away and out of the parking lot," Sgt. Mike Hanel said.
A brief pursuit was then innitiated throughout the streets of Dickinson.
Shortly after police called off the pursuit because of the excessive speeds.
The vehicle was later located on West Villard and a passenger that was riding with Lepe was now in the drivers seat and the officers learned that Lepe had fled.
Earlier Friday police were airing on the side of caution telling residents to stay inside and lock their doors.
