New Lids for the U Mary Football Team

    This is the 25th anniversary of football at the University of Mary.
    And they'll have a new look to celebrate the accomplishment.

    This is the new Marauders decal, and it's just the 3rd look in the teams history.
    Head Coach Myron Schulz says he loved the old blue bucket helmets, but the players thought it was time to make a change, so it'll be the same blue helmet, with a new decal twist.

    One thing that won't need changing is quarterback Craig Bagnell.
    Number 4 returns for his junior season, Bagnell averaged more than 300 yards a game passing last year, and threw for 19 touchdowns.
    This year he's even more comfortable, which makes him a threat to be even better.

    The Marauders play September 1st on the road in St. Paul, but their first home game is September 8th, against Augustana at 2:30 in the afternoon.
