ATF National Response Team Called in to Steele

Another twist in the arson investigation at the Lone Steer Motel.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation has called in the ATF's National Response Team called in to investigate.

The team of two dozen special agents arrives today.

The Lone Steer burned to the ground Sunday morning. The estimated loss is 1.5 million dollars. A 50-year-old Texas man was arrested yesterday in Bismarck and faces an arson charge.

There are three National Response Teams nationwide. They've been activated to investigate events like the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, the Oklahoma City bombing, and the 9/11 crash site.

It's the 13th time an NRT team has been activated nationwide this year.

Officials say some areas on the road near Jamestown were 10 to 14 inches deep. It may be hard to tell but this is actually interstate. Drivers were down to about five miles an hour just west of Jamestown
