He's one of the most "outdoorsy" people in North Dakota.
Andrew Wiseman traps everything from beavers to muskrats, hunts everything from deer to mountain lions and has even been known to extract skunk smell for perfume.
If there's a hunting or fishing season, he goes for it.
We tag along with Wiseman as he combines two of his favorite outdoors sports into one.
"You put hunting and fishing together in the same sport, it gets my arm in tune for season, gets my muscles ready for that." says Andrew Wiseman.
If there's something to hunt, fish or trap, Andrew Wiseman has probably done it.
"I'm sure there's plenty of people who take advantage of it, I know I do every single season there is just trying to follow every regulation that has a season, trying to get out and try it, just so I have the experience." he says.
Bow fishing is an experience that landed him early on.
"I got into bow fishing because my dad and I bow fished as a kid, we used to go walk the Cannonball in Regent North Dakota and I've been hooked ever since." he says.
Instead of a hook, he aims his bow and releases his harpoon-like arrow, on fish swimming several yards away.
The biggest buffalo carp he's caught was around 43 pounds, but he's hoping someday to beat the state record.
"A lot of people think I'm crazy for chasing the carp record but I take it!" says Wiseman.
It's a passion that takes precision, and seems sporting to share.
"A lot of kids are inside playing video games and stuff, that's why I really like taking people out to experience it just to get more people interested in the outdoors." says Wiseman.
Andrew actually takes his carp to the Dakota Zoo to feed to the animals.
He will be busy outside again tomorrow, goose season starts.
The bow fishing season is open through Sept. 30th.
