You may have noticed an unfamiliar bus driving through the streets of Bismarck Tuesday.
The bus is part of an American Energy Alliance bus tour.
It's stopping across the country raising awareness about the importance of Domestic energy production, manufacturing, and also how important refinery's are.
On the trip they're encouraging people to sign the bus as a living record of where they've been and who they've talked to.
While North Dakota might be well educated in these fields, that's part of the reason why the bus stopped in Bismarck.
"I think there's always a temptation to think that the folks that work in the oil patch, and the folks who live around them know everything they need to know and a lot of cases they do, so in some respects, stops like these out in production areas are educational for us," Mike Mckenna said.
The next bus stop is in Montana.
