Rock the Leaves for Flood Recovery

Posted: Updated:

The Summer of Hope is turning to fall in the Magic City.
But there's one more flood recovery event just around the corner.

Rock the Leaves is a benefit music festival in its sixth year running.
Since 2006, local bands have gathered to raise money for a local cause.
This year, all proceeds will go toward flood recovery.

(Joe Davis, Rock the Leaves Emcee) "It's really just bring the community together. Especially after the flood. It's the summer of hope. That's what it's all about.
(Vince Assarello, Rock the Leaves Emcee) "We're really excited to be a part of it. It's a pleasure to be a part of it. We want to help rebuild Minot the best we can and get the community involved and make Oak Park better than it ever was before."

If you would like to get involved, they are looking for volunteers.
You can contact them through facebook by searching "Rock the Leaves."
And join them at the Scandinavian Park next Saturday the 25th from 2-11 p.m.
