New Thai Restaurant Coming- Around Town

Posted: Updated:

A couple of new restaurants are hitting Bismarck.Soon we will have another Thai Restaurant and a new deli. Jon Schaeffer shows you where as he takes you around town.

Drunken Noodle is a Thai restaurant that is a hit in Grand Forks and Fargo. It will be in Downtown Bismarck at the conclusion of the new building going in at 510 East Main Street. The Building is owned by Dr. Rick Becker who is a plastic surgeon here in Bismarck. Drunken Noodle is known for its Pad Thai and other popular Asian Dishes. The building construction is set to be completed by October of this year. There will also be office and retail in the building as well.

The Space Alien's BBQ pit could soon be changing names and ownership. Two weeks ago the Lucky Duck's Deli was approved for a liquor license by Bismarck City Commissioners. The address for the new restaurant is listed for the same location as the BBQ Pit. They are currently in the process of obtaining the property. The two restaurant owners should close on a deal in the coming weeks.

If you've been cruising down the interstate and noticing a steel structure going up by the veterinarian's office-- it will be new office buildings. Starion is the financial support on the building. It is unsure when the completion date of the new building will be. It is on Interstate ave just east of the pinehurst shopping area.

Taking you around town I'm Jon Schaeffer KXNEWs.

Lucky Duck's Deli is planning on catering for Laughing Sun Brewery.
