As summer turns to fall, farmers aren't the only ones harvesting their crops.
Some young gardeners get to harvest their fruits and vegetables at the Burleigh County Extension.
The kids have been here--working on their garden since June.
With bags of grape tomatoes, melons, and some corn these kids are all set to go.
Many of them say they look forward to planting in their own garden next year.
"Actually we already have a garden at our house but I think next year we're gonna plant cucumbers, and pickles and a whole bunch of other stuff" said Caitlyn Claymore aYoung Gardener
Organizers want to encourage more young people to get into gardening...
There were about a dozen kids harvesting their crops today.
