Battle of the Badges Blood Drive

Posted:

It's time to roll up your sleeve and give a little blood for those in need.
Today through Wednesday marks the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive.
Donors are able to choose who they want to donate their blood for--Team Law or Team Fire.

(Dana Schweitzer / Blood Donor) "I donated for Team Law. It's important because four years ago today we lost our infant daughter, so because her life was taken away I decided to give a life on this day to honor her and to honor everybody who needs blood."

The organization that recruits the most donors will receive a traveling trophy.
The blood drive runs from noon till 7, today through Wednesday.
