A fire near Glen Ullin burns hundreds of acres.
Officials with the Glen Ullin Fire Department says a lightening strike started this fire southwest of town around 2 am.
Officials had the fire under control by 4:30 this morning, but the fire started back up this afternoon.
So far officials estimated more than 600 acres have burned.
(Duane DelaBarre, Glen Ullin Fire Dept.) "There is so much fuel here, over there it has never been grazed and that is what is going nuts now."
A lightening strike also started a fire west of New Salem last night, where roughly 100 acres burned.
