Another major provider of medical care in Williston held a grand opening today as well.
Trinity Health cut the ribbon on its new, 60-thousand square foot facility
that houses its Regional Eyecare and Vision Galleria, and its Williston Community Clinic.
The three-story building is right across the street from Mercy Medical Center.
Trinity's new home will allow the facility to offer more specialists, operating rooms, and procedures to people in the Williston area.
It also is a new, larger home for its eye care division including optometrist and ophthalmologist services.
(Theresia Swartout, Trinity Health Western Dakota Director) "There's a lot of new patients here just because of the volume that we're seeing in the oil field and so we're able to accommodate the new patients in the community and offer them the services that they need."
Trinity Health Western Dakota actually opened late last month but held its official ribbon cutting today.
It was financed with a 5-and-a-half million dollar loan through USDA Rural Development.
