It wasn't long ago that Home of Economy in Minot was starting construction on a massive new store next door to its current location. 58-thousand square feet is now open and ready for customers here at the new store. Today was the official opening. Home of Economy has been in the Magic City for 57 years -- but the company started in 1939...in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. A grand opening celebration is planned for next month.
Conolle and Sommerville has moved to a new location -- offering much more along the lines of space, and organization. On north hill on 21st Avenue is where you'll find the new location...a move from the flooded old location just off 3rd Street. Conolle and Sommerville employs 48 people in Minot.
An addition to Dakota Rose Bed and Breakfast in Minot. Inside you'll find Dakotah Rose Delights. While it is convenient for guests...anyone is able to come in and purchase this homemade chocolate and other goodies. They are hosting a grand opening this Saturday from 10 to 4 at Dakota Rose...a chance to stop by, check out the rehabbed historic home, and try some of the treats Dakotah Rose Delights...
