Around Town 10-12

Posted: Updated:

New Businesses are springing up all over the Bismarck Mandan area.

Jon Schaeffer Takes you around town this week to show you what's new.

Hampton Inn and Suites is coming to Bismarck next to the Stadium and the Lodge on West Divide Avenue.

It is right off of the eastbound exit for I-94-- a location that owner Gary Schumacher says he is excited about.

The hotel will have 98 rooms--free hot breakfast--and wireless Internet.

Ground work has already begun on the corner lot.

It should be finished and ready to open in the Summer of 2013.

Let's head across the Missouri to Merriweather's gift and trade shop at 116 Main St. in Mandan.

The new shop will have memorabilia for Mandan and North Dakota whether its custom T-shirts--a purse or jewelry--owners Scott and Roma Newton say there's something for everyone.

They also own Destiny Screen Printing which is located in the back of the store.

The business will have its grand opening Saturday October 20th.

Store hours are 9am to 6 PM Monday through Saturday.

Fire Flour Pizza will settle into its new home on 5th street in downtown Bismarck next month.

Until then, the Brick oven pizza joint has a stand outside of their location to sell pizzas every Thursday and Friday.

Kenny and Kendra Howard have been operating in Bismarck and Mandan out of a custom made trailer.

The restaurant will feature a brand new brick oven from Italy-- that can cook a pizza in one minute.

The North Dakota DOT have a new Motor Vehicle and Drivers License facility in Dickinson.

It is at the T-REX Plaza on Hwy 22.
