Small Town Mayor Facing AA Felony

The mayor of the McHenry County town of Balfour has been charged with Gross Sexual Imposition - a Class Double-A Felony.

52-year-old Dale Yost was arrested last night and made his first court appearance in Northeast District Court in Towner this afternoon.

Yost is accused of Gross Sexual Imposition.

More information on the charges are expected to be released tomorrow.

Judge John C. McClintock has ordered Yost be held without bond.

Yost is being held at the Heart of America Correctional Center in Rugby awaiting his initial appearance which is scheduled for November 7th.
