Rick Berg: "I'll Be A Champion For Small Businesses In N.D."

Posted:

Rick Berg accepts an endorsement from the National Federation of Independent Business.

People gathered at Ace Hardware in Bismarck to hear from Berg, about how North Dakota has become the economic envy of the entire country.

Berg says if elected to the U-S Senate, he'll be a champion for small businesses in North Dakota.

"In Washington, because of their lack of making decisions they've created this cloud of uncertainty over all small businesses, we talk about the physical cliff, what's going to happen to our taxes, regulations, Obamacare, with energy policy, all of these things create a mountain of uncertainty," Republican Rick Berg said.

Brandon Lorenz with Heidi Heitkamp issued this statement on behalf of her campaign:

"While we must do more to help our small businesses grow, Agriculture is our biggest industry, Rick Berg created great uncertainty for our family farmers by voting on party lines to slash $180 billion from farm programs, and allowing the Farm Bill to expire."
