Space Aliens Grill and Bar in Minot -- and Grand Forks too -- will be shutting down its doors next week on Tuesday. The restaurants are owned and operated by FMI in Minot. Space Aliens has been located at the old Sports World Stadium for years...and just recently underwent a make-over shifting the deterrence to the north and remodeling the interior. Officials with FMI say that employees with Space Aliens will transition to other FMI properties if they so choose -- and this does not affect Badlands in the same building, another FMI operation.
The Fisher name is back in the Magic City -- with The Fisher Car Care Center Experience. It opened for business just this week on Monday, and already they are busy. Located on 31st Avenue SW across from Minot Rural Fire, an appointment here for your vehicle will end in what might feel like you driving away in a brand new ride. And that is the idea -- they detail cars here. It is much more than a wash and vacuum...

Jim Almond manages the business. He says dealerships do this type of work...but can't always fit appointments in quickly, and they can do exactly that. Packages start at 125 bucks...which may sound steep, but you are getting much much more than a basic cleaning...
"It will be just like you going to the lot and picking out a used car after a dealship does it and goes through it. We take it a step further...this is the only thing we do."
